Flint offers nonstop Vegas flights

AirTran Airways will begin flying five times a week between Flint Bishop International Airport and Las Vegas this summer, the airline said in a statement. The nonstop flights start Aug 4. Flights to Vegas will depart Flint at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at 4:40 p.m. Flights to Flint will depart Vegas at 8 a.m. and arrive at 2:50 p.m. All flights will operate daily except Tuesday and Wednesday. Introductory fares start at $99 one way.
